We are the new kids on the block with all founding committee members having many successful years of experience in managing and coordinating Land Mobile Clubs and who “know their stuff”. The Australian HF Touring Club (AHFTC) has been created to offer the travelling HF enthusiast the most up-to-date facilities in a welcoming environment.

We started our journey with the one base at Sapphire in Central Queensland and have expanded rapidly with our members having access to 3 strategically sited remote bases. All bases provide the members with the latest innovations in technology and facilities with futuristic plans already being formulated. Our team is progressive and forward-thinking with one aim and that is to improve the HF radio and travelling experience of our members.

Any club however is only as strong and effective as its members, so being conscious of this fact we encourage participation in Club activities. We have members in every state and territory of Australia and are growing in size daily.
